Playthrough Complete!

So I finished recording the Red Dead Redemption playthrough, so expect a bunch of videos today and tomorrow. Still have some editing to do on a few of them so it'll be good if I can get that done today, and have them ready for tomorrow (or possibly later today). Undead Nightmare next, followed by some random playthrough that has yet to be determined, but should probably be soon.
Also, I'll say thanks to frozenwifi for my sleek looking icon. It looks way cooler then the Xbox icon I had before so thank a bunch!

360 Gaming Clan

Looks like I'll be doing some recording for the 360 Gaming Clan based out of the UK. You can check out their channel here:
As usual there is a Red Dead Redemption video, and I finally got around to editing some Black Ops stuff I've had for like 2 weeks so there will be a short gameplay up as well.

Well it seems as though my uploading is going well today, and I don't have to work, which mean little to no stress. Depending on how well my uploads are going (it's looking good right now), there may be 2 videos today. I am a little bit ahead on recording, and therefore a little behind on editing, so if it's a little sloppy forgive me, as I try to be efficient. Major change from yesterday when I was raging hardcore at the internet and YouTube. Everything just seems to work better when I don't have to go to work. So yeah, work sucks.

Why does the internet suck...

As I sit here typing this I am uploading a video to YouTube. This is the second time I'm uploading this video because the first time it stopped, over half an hour into the upload, at 88%. Firstly, YouTube definitely needs to show your upload speed, so if for some reason it goes to 0, you can try to fix the problem, especially for big videos uploaded using the Advanced Video Upload feature, which "allows" resumable uploads even though I've had videos stop and never resume. There needs to be a refresh feature, or possibly a separate applet for uploading large files to YouTube. It's great they use Java, but that means nothing if it's still in the browser. Uploading a video to YouTube should be no different then uploading anything else. It needs to give an estimated time in minutes:seconds and shows the speed of the upload, and needs the extra option to "resume later". It's just data, it's possible, it can't be hard to do.  Give us a way to upload that will consistently work, regardless of internet stability, or the need to disconnect. It really can't be that damn hard.

So I actually thought I'd be able to do lots of uploading today, but unfortunately my girlfriend and I are going to meet another couple for dinner later, which means I won't be able to upload everything I planned on. Lots of Red Dead videos on the horizon. I decided that it was better to go with 1 mission per video. Less editing, shorter upload times, less shenanigans in general.

Busy Busy Busy

So, I've been pretty busy the past few days with family, school and work. Since I upload all my videos from school, I haven't been able to upload as many recently because I need to leave campus earlier to go to work. I also do most of my recording/editing after work, which means I'm ridiculously tired sometimes because I have to wake up at 7:30 every morning to get ready for class. Either way, I'm making it work (and still have time to see my girlfriend). What will really help out is my pending work transfer. Since I work at a popular chain of grocery stores, I can transfer to a store that I live closer to, so I can reduce my travel time drastically. Hopefully this happens soon, because I don't know how much longer I can make my commute effectively to work.

Disc: Resurfaced

Today, there will be Red Dead Redemption videos! My disc looks a lot better then before, and plays great now. Earlier this month it didn't let me install the game to my USB stick, so hopefully now it'll work and run even smoother. Two videos today. More for the rest of the week. I'll try to get another guest involved. Speaking of which, I would like to know if anyone knows of a free program that records Skype conversations, because then I could probably get more guests.
Edit: Looks like I'm not going to get 2 vids up today.. internet = slow.

Apparently I can't play Red Dead Redemption right now, because it's glitching out... Makes me sad. Looks like I'll have to resurface the disc. So that playthrough is on hold for the time being, but hopefully not for too long. On another note, I put up another Black Ops video courtesy of xDirtyThirty. Music in it is a little weird, but I want to completely avoid copyright issues, so I work with what I can get for free.

First Montage

Budweiser x360a's footage made for a 3 minute "montage". Tomahawk kills, a double headshot and an excellent sharpshooter start. Quality wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but I'm pretty sure I fixed the problem for next time, and I should have noticed it before I uploaded it anyways.
Today I become a Godfather. I'm going to church at noon to participate in my cousins baptism and be formally given the title.

Black Ops

So I've found the first person who wants some Black Ops videos done. He brought up a good point though, of whether or not it would be free. This will be free for anyone who cares to approach me about it for the time being. The only thing that could possibly change is if there are 100 people who want videos done.
YouTube aside, I'm totally loving my calculus course, which is the weirdest thing I could possibly ever say. Great teacher, small class, I don't think I could ask for any more then that.

Red Dead Redemption

As anyone who's looking at this probably came across it through my YouTube channel, you'll know I'm doing a Red Dead Redemption playthrough. The past 2 videos have had guests, so this next one might be a little lonely. I'd also like to say that if anyone plays Black Ops, and has some clips they'd like recorded I'd be happy to take a look at it, record it and put it on my channel, either with commentary that you do, or that I do, or no commentary at all. I'd like to start another playthrough, just so it's not all Red Dead, for those who like other games, so if there are any suggestions let me know.

First Post

So I decided to create a blog just for fun. For those of you who don't know, I make Youtube videos of Xbox360 gameplay. I don't know how often I'll be posting on here, school and work take up a lot of time, but I'm sure I can make some time to put up some posts. Anyways, thanks for checking this out!
